How It Works
1. The Challenge
You start by pinpointing areas that your business has the potential to improve. This could be something that would give you an extra competitive edge (like releasing a new product), or maybe something that corrects an area that is underperforming (like the efficiency of your processes). Once you have identified this area, you can define exactly what it is you’d like to achieve.
2. On your mark… get set…
With your goal defined, you can then use Nextinit to pose a challenge to the people in your business, along with any required parameters. This will appear in their app and give them an understanding of what it is you’re trying to achieve.
3. GO!
Nextinit is not a suggestion box. Your people then compete by submitting their best ideas to resolve your challenge. Users can see what each other are submitting and invest virtual points into ideas they support. People are incentivised to contribute by the knowledge that their idea (or one they support) could be made reality if it comes out on top. There are also rankings and medals to be won along the way.
4. And the winner is…
Throughout the challenge period, ideas will pass through natural gaming filters until a winning one can be identified. You can then put this idea to the test by activating a pilot project with an implementation team. You can also share documents, and define and update KPIs to measure results.
5. Ready for what’s next?
With your new idea tested and performing well, you can implement it across your business and begin achieving your goal. Not only that, but you’ll also have an engaged workforce that have contributed to the business and you may have revealed exciting, talented people from within your organization.
